It's been a busy summer. Since I had already started a blog through the 21st Century Libraries class it was easy to just set up another blog. I guess I've always considered myself a lifelong learner - I enjoy researching historical cooking recipes and historical costuming, medieval horsemanship and a variety of other things. I've used the library, inter-library loan, the internet, other experts, etc. to find answers to my questions.

As I looked at the slide show for this week, there wasn't "one" hardest thing that jumped out. If there had been a category for "taking rabbit trails" then I would've been right on the spot. I often find something of interest while I'm researching and the next thing I know, I'm off in pursuit of that item.

While I see Web 2.0 as an active part of students and our work, I sometimes find myself wanting to turn off technology when I'm home. Some elementary students are familiar with aspects of WEb 2.0 tools, yet it seems that more middle and high school students actively use them. Anyway, I'm anxious to see where these things lead!
